Time (Mantra restaurant, Hyd)- executed in Nuwud and brass sheets; Approximate size of the mural 20’x13’(Dia.of the central circle is 10’)- date of completion- April 2005. Time is a psychological notion; it is eternal, mysterious, relative and synonymous with change. Time is inherent in thought and freezes once the thought process ceases- the word time comes from the English root word tide. Time is personified as a grand old man and is explained as cyclic/ repetitive by most of the religions. Day n night, seasons, moving planets and constellations and other regularly occurring events help in recording the past and the events of history. The theory of relativity by Einstein suggests that time is not absolute but just a relative measure and was described as a fourth dimension.
