Dream (Rang restaurant, Hyd) – executed in mild steel and glass; approximate size of the mural -18’x4’-6”-date of completion -July 2005. A dream where the subconscious craves for an escape- an escape Into a fantasy world, there are fairies, lotus flowers, elephants, etc, - the Images oscillate between fantasy and mechanical reality, for example the transformation of the lotus leaf into a motor vehicles wheel and again to a lotus leaf. The horse on the chessboard transforms into a white winged horse, which escapes through the window and through the threshold, deep into the horizon, into a world of fantasy. The mural forms a part of the restaurant called rang. The similarity between the mural dream and the space are, both provide a relief from the mechanical routine and open a world of fantasy and color.
