The mural kundalini has been executed in flamed granite (shell white) and silver- Kundalini- the central column of the radiating world is identical with every individual’s subtle spine. Performing intense inner work, he may then discover that the world which appears projected around him can be withdrawn into a flower -like mandala at the base of his spine. His own inner creative Goddess, who seems to him like a luminous snake, kundalini, coiled asleep within that mandala around a lingam, can be awoken by yoga, and will rise up the central channel of his subtle column, passing through a series of inner mandala-transformations as it goes.These called chakras, culminate in the thousand-petalled flower at the crown of the head where male and female principles unite in bliss; the transcendent, the human and the cosmic become one.
