Charudutt is a Brahmin and Vasanthsena a courtesean. They both fall in love and the passionate affair comes to an end with the intervention of Charudutt’s wife. The story dates back to the time of Vatsyayana (2nd century A.D), a genius who wrote the book Kama Sutra.
